◇ 授業目的 Course goals : The analog (VLSI) circuits play important roles in many fields of real-world applications such as signal modulating, power management, and clock generator, etc. The analog/digital hybrid accelerator is developped in this class. The students design the application specific circuits with CAD tools.
◇ 授業内容 Course description : Three parts of relevant knowledge are introduced as: 1. the basics of Analog circuit; 2. how to develop analog/digital hardware. Along with lectures, the exercises of circuit simulations and layout designs are assigned under tutorials. As the target task, the students are required to design an accelerator and verify its behavior by circuit simulations

◇ 参考書 Reference materials : Paul R. Gray, Paul J. Hurst, Stephen H. Lewis, and Robert G. Meyer: Analysis and Design of Analog Integrated Circuits (Fourth Edition)

◇ 成績評価 Grading : Your final score will be evaluated by the designed circuits and simulation results.
